Susan is a civil engineer and has worked in several industrial companies during her career, including Atlas Copco before joining DeLaval as Director Quality & Compliance. She has held leading roles in R&D, production, quality, product safety and environment.

"During my working life, I have come to realize what makes a real difference for an organization's deliveries, both sustainable financial results and loyal customers and not least, employees who stay and thrive. I believe that it is about leadership, clarity in roles and responsibilities, continuous development of working methods with support from processes and relevant IT tools, ie, the culture, structure and systematics. If all this is in place, the foundation is laid for both innovation and sustainability" says Susan Ballhausen Bjelke.

"As CEO of SIQ , I will have the opportunity to take these experiences further and work to ensure that more companies, authorities and organizations discover the power of modern quality work. Giving them access to the tools and services that SIQ offers to ensure their quality development and sustainable success is what made me accept the assignment" adds Susan Ballhausen Bjelke.

Susan Ballhausen Bjelke will take up her position on Monday, October 2, 2023. Berit Lindholm, former CEO of SIQ, will move on to new international assignments at Fresenius Kabi.
