Andreas Schleicher, who is responsible for the PISA studies in the OECD, was a much appreciated speaker at the National Conference Bättre Skola earlier this year. He pointed out that Swedish schools have made a strong recovery after low results in the early 2000s.
To get an equal school, systematic quality work is the foundation and we at SIQ are convinced that solid quality work is a key to success for all types of activities. Through the Better School Quality Award, we highlight good role models for others to be inspired by.
SIQ has organized the National Conference on Better Schools every year for the past 20 years. The conference is aimed at everyone who works with quality issues in the school world. The theme of this year's conference was equivalence.
We hereby have the privilege of publishing our program with Andreas Schleicher, responsible for the PISA studies in the OECD. The moderator Cecilia Christersson, Vice-Rector for Global Engagement and Challenge-based Learning at Malmö University, and Anna Singateh, project manager and coordinator at Pedagogical Inspiration in Malmö, ask Andreas Schleicher questions from the participants. The recording of the session is just over 1 hour long.
Please contact Annette Björnson if you have any questions about the Better Schools Quality Award or the Better Schools National Conference.
