As the newly appointed Chairman of the Board, Anna Nilsson-Ehle looks forward to leading SIQ's continued work to create, gather and spread knowledge about leading for sustainable and customer-focused development of Swedish businesses.

- Since my time at Volvo, I have been interested in quality and management issues and the development towards an increasingly clear customer and societal perspective.

- Through my role as chair, I hope to be able to contribute to SIQ's continued powerful efforts to support the development of activities in business and society that strive for sustainable success, comments Anna Nilsson-Ehle on her new assignment. With broad experience from academia and leading positions in the Volvo Group, Universeum and SAFER, among others, as well as various board assignments in business, government agencies and collaborative functions, Anna Nilsson-Ehle has a strong conviction that sustainable success is based on the principles of quality development - the same basic mindset and methods can be applied to all businesses in a society that strives for sustainability, for themselves and for our planet.

Key areas for SIQ in the coming years

Areas that Anna Nilsson-Ehle identifies as important for SIQ in the coming years are continued quality development for the public sector, support for analysis and tools to address quality deficiencies at system level, and involvement of the business community in strategic management of quality development.
