Since 1992, SIQ - Institute for Quality Development has awarded the Swedish Quality Award to organizations that systematically develop their quality and improvement work at the organizational level and thereby achieve sustainable success.

The Swedish Quality Award is given to organizations that have demonstrated significant results from their successful quality work. The operations are highlighted from a holistic perspective where strengths and opportunities for improvement are identified in detail based on SIQ Management model, which is a basis for how organizations achieve success with their operations.
The purpose of the Swedish Quality Award is to support the development of systematic improvement work at the organizational level and to highlight good examples to inspire others, both in the private and public sectors.
