In the fall, Mats Deleryd will leave his position as Managing Director of SIQ. He has been recruited to the Norwegian company FREYR AS as Head of Quality and Business Development. FREYR AS, which operates in the same industry as the Swedish company Northvolt, has set its sights on becoming a global battery manufacturer and has been listed on the New York Stock Exchange for three weeks.
- All employees at SIQ, the Board and I personally want to wish Mats all the best in his new role, comments Chairman of the Board Anna Nilsson-Ehle. Mats has done a fantastic job during his five years as CEO of SIQ.
- This offer was simply too interesting to turn down," says Mats Deleryd. "At SIQ we have worked a lot to show how quality development is a basis for sustainability work in all businesses. Now I'm looking forward to making a more concrete and operational contribution to a more sustainable world. Getting the chance to establish a completely new global organization from scratch is also attractive, of course.
The recruitment of a new CEO will start immediately in order to take all the development plans for SIQ forward at an unchanged pace.
