Quality, sustainability and leadership in practice is the new name of the e-learning course offered by SIQ in cooperation with Uppsala University. The course is for those who lead or are involved in quality and sustainability work.

- The course content has also been expanded with elective elements for CSRD reporting and strengthened with an emphasis on using engagement as a success factor. "We now also welcome management groups or teams who want to take the course together or those who lead quality and sustainability work without being a manager," says Ann Eberhardsson, teacher and course leader.

For the past 1.5 years, we have been offering SIQ and Uppsala University have launched a joint e-learning course in three parts that equips and strengthens those who are responsible for or are part of quality and sustainability work in their organisation. The course provides a broad platform for leading and driving quality and sustainability work. Theories and methods are interspersed with practical tasks that will be of use directly in the organisation.

Appreciated by many participants

- It is a very popular course precisely because it can be used immediately, regardless of the industry. Among our course participants, we have regions, municipalities and businesses and many different professional roles. The common denominator is that they all either lead, coordinate or are part of working groups with a focus on quality and/or sustainable development," says Ann, who teaches quality technology and sustainable development and CSR at Uppsala University.

The course can be set up at the pace that suits you best - a few weeks or a full financial year.

- The course starts with a needs meeting where we go through the structure and adapt the content to the needs of you as a course participant. We want the course to be really useful from the start. Then I am there as a teacher and coach all the way through the course. Every other Tuesday there are voluntary open e-classrooms for those who want to discuss, get support or network with others.

The course content starts with the SIQ management model and then moves into modules on quality development, sustainable development and CSR, all of which are then intertwined with the role of the course participants in their organization. The course content has also been expanded with elective elements for CSRD reporting and reinforced with an emphasis on using engagement as a success factor.

New target group welcomed

Now we also welcome management groups or teams who want to take the course together. Ann, who herself has a long background as a manager and leader in the regional and municipal sector and from the business world, sees great opportunities for management groups and teams who want to lead with quality and sustainability - and what good effects it brings!

- All groups also have their own e-classrooms and workspaces so that materials, insights and results can be shared throughout the group," says Ann.

If you want to know more or talk to someone who has already taken the course, you are welcome to contact us and we will tell you more! The course is ready to go - so sign up, book a needs meeting and you're off!
