The 2025 training is under revision

A qualified management training program that gives you in-depth knowledge in theory and practice of quality development. The basis is theSIQ Management Model, which is based on the success factors that characterize leading organizations. Being an examiner is a way to learn more about systematic quality development, to develop yourself as an individual and your organization while contributing to the development of others.

Successful completion of the course is your ticket to be an examiner for the SIQ quality award, the Swedish Quality Award, and thus sharply evaluate any of this year's participating companies, schools or organizations.

Course structure

The training is divided into several stages and organized in a way that we can practice each part of the evaluation process and you will work a lot as part of a team. You will learn to understand the SIQ Management Model and how it can be used to evaluate organizations and how it can contribute to development.

  • The course will start with an introduction via the web. (Dates will be published)
  • This is followed by distance learning where each participant will submit an individual evaluation on a few selected criteria in a practical case. Participants need to be able to make balanced judgments and formulate constructive, factual comments. Each participant receives personal feedback on the distance learning course.
  • Then a three-day residential training is conducted. This year divided into two parts, where day 1 is completely digital and day 2-3 takes place with a physical meeting in Stockholm.
  • After the residential training, all participants receive a certificate of completion.
  • Graduates may be offered the opportunity to join a team of examiners and carry out an evaluation for the Swedish Quality Award.

    An evaluation mission includes:

  • An individual evaluation of a document that we send out to all examiners in each establishment.
  • Consensus meeting, where the team meets and agrees on the assessment.
  • Site visits, when the team verifies the organization's strengths (also when the team formulates the feedback report).
  • After completing the assignment, all participants receive a diploma and thus the right to call themselves Examiners or Evaluation Leaders for the current year.

"

I can highly recommend SIQ Examiner Training which is a strategic leadership and management training. After completing the training, I was chosen as Evaluation Leader for the "Quality Award Better School" where I led a qualified team of examiners with the magnifying glass on schools' systematic quality work. A magical experience that has developed both myself and Barnkompetens!
