SIQ owns EPSI Rating Group, which measures, analyzes and advises on customer experience in the private and public sectors in Europe. The business has its origins in a research project at the Stockholm School of Economics and has been measuring customer-perceived quality in a number of industries since 1989. In Sweden, the organization is called Svenskt Kvalitetsindex, and today the EPSI group is present in Finland, Denmark, Norway and the United Kingdom in addition to Sweden. On an annual basis, EPSI and SKI conduct nearly 500,000 stakeholder interviews in some 20 industries.
